The safe standard
Smart casual clears every door in the city: dark jeans or trousers, a collared shirt or a clean plain tee, and closed shoes. Nothing about that outfit gives a doorman a reason to think about you.

Groups get judged as a unit
For bachelor parties this is the part that matters. A door assesses the whole group, and one person in beachwear or visibly drunk can cost everyone entry. Agree the standard before you leave the hotel; it is the cheapest insurance available.
Casino dress codes are not the same thing
If your evening starts at a casino restaurant or club, note that those venues run their own, often stricter, dress standards — particularly the nightclubs. Dress for the strictest venue on your itinerary and everything after it is easy.
