What is actually published
Two of the venues we track publish weekly hours in their own material. Those hours run to 4:00 AM on weeknights and as late as 6:00 AM on Friday and Saturday. Everything else in the directory publishes nothing at all.
A venue that publishes no hours is not necessarily closed. It usually means the schedule is variable, seasonal, or simply never written down. Treat it as unknown rather than shut.
Midweek in the off-season
Atlantic City is a beach town with a casino industry attached. A Tuesday in February is a completely different city from a Saturday in July, and several venues publish no Monday-to-Wednesday hours for exactly that reason.
If you are planning a midweek visit outside summer, calling ahead is not optional. It is the difference between a night out and a wasted trip.
How to confirm in two minutes
Open the venue page, use the sourced phone number, and ask two questions: are you open tonight, and what is the cover. That call also tells you whether the number still works, which is itself useful information about the listing.

- Why is there no live open/closed indicator?
- Because it would be fabricated. No venue publishes real-time status, and an automated guess based on stale hours is worse than no answer.
- What time do things get busy?
- Atlantic City runs late. Rooms fill after 11:00 PM on weekends; a 9:00 PM arrival is early.
